Fire at Latham diner causes temporary closure

LATHAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- There was a fire at Metro 7 Diner in Latham on Sunday around 10:45 p.m., per the Verdoy Volunteer Fire Department. The diner said in a Facebook post that it will be temporarily closed for repairs.

Fire officials say the fire was contained to the inside of the diner, but that it did sustain fire, smoke, and water damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
