Brittany Mahomes Blasts Bills Fans for 'Disgusting' Patrick Mahomes Incident
The Kansas City Chiefs punched their ticket to the Super Bowl yesterday with a close victory over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship game. After the game, Brittany Mahomes, the wife of superstar Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, spoke out, slamming the team's fans for an incident earlier this year.
On Jan. 27, the mother of three took to her Instagram Stories to address an incident from November when a Buffalo Bills fan at a tailgate hung a Kermit the Frog doll wearing a curly wig and a number 15 Chiefs jersey from a pole. The doll, according to NBC News, was meant to be a reference to an ongoing joke about Mahomes sounding like a Muppet. However, it promptly sparked backlash among Chiefs fans, with some likening the imagery to the lynching of a Black man.
