'It would be epic': Fox News' Kayleigh McEnany calls to put Trump's face on Mount Rushmore
Fox News hosts, including Kayleigh McEnany, are pushing to put President Donald Trump's face on Mouth Rushmore.
In a fawning segment on the Fox News Outnumbered program on Monday, host Harris Faulkner reported on Rep. Ana Paulina Luna's (R-FL) legislation to have the current president carved into the iconic mountain. Faulkner spoke as a Fox News chyron read, "Growing calls to add Trump's face to Mr. Rushmore."
"They claim he's already done enough to be immortalized alongside George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln," Faulkner said.
"I think it'd be great," co-host Jason Chaffetz opined. "I think what Donald Trump has done and is in the process of doing is transforming the United States of America and putting America first."
"And I think America loves it, and I think there's a great case for it."
McEnany agreed: "Yeah, I'm fascinated by this, because that would be some sweet irony after President Joe Biden stopped the fireworks display from Mount Rushmore."
"So if you did the, like, 250th anniversary of the country at Mount Rushmore with President Trump's face, it would be epic," she said.
However, co-host Emily Compagno suggested modifying Mount Rushmore was a bad idea.

"I actually, with all due respect to the beautiful Dakotas, I despise Mount Rushmore," she explained. "I hate that we chiseled humans' faces into the mountains."
"So for me, I would be all for putting President Trump's face on currency, right?" Compagno added. "Or, which, obviously, there's the cryptocurrency, but, I mean, put it on a quarter or whatever."
