Waqf property to remain with user if not disputed or isn't govt facility

The parliamentary panel reviewing the Waqf Amendment Bill will recommend keeping the status of existing 'Waqf by user' properties unchanged if undisputed and not government facilities. The committee accepted amendments proposed by BJP MPs, while opposition members plan to dissent and challenge the new law in the Supreme Court.
