RG Kar case: Victim's parents not in favour of death sentence for convict Sanjay Roy, claims counsel

The West Bengal government and the CBI appealed for capital punishment for Sanjay Roy, convicted in the RG Kar hospital rape-murder case. However, the victim's family prefers the trial of other accused to commence without further delay and for the highest punishment awarded by the trial court to stay.
