Another cold morning, warming trend begins

Temperatures have fallen this morning into the middle to upper 10s. A light wind that is variable in direction is dropping wind chills down into the single digits. This looks to be our last cold morning for a while as our warming trend begins.

Highs today reach the middle to upper 40s by the afternoon. By Tuesday through Thursday, temperatures will rise into the upper 40s and lower 50s. This warmth will help accelerate the melting process, although larger snow piles may take a bit longer to fully disappear.

Our next chance of precipitation will arrive late Thursday into Friday with rain expected with that system. After that moves through, we'll see mild weather returning for the upcoming weekend.
