JSW Group to invest Rs 2,600 cr to develop 2 copper mines, concentrator plant in Jharkhand

JSW Group will invest Rs 2,600 crore to develop and operate two copper mines and establish a copper concentrator plant in Jharkhand, marking its entry into the copper business. This initiative aims to reduce India's dependency on copper imports and support industrial growth, with mines expected to become partially operational in the latter half of 2026-27.
