Pakistan's Punjab province imposes lifetime ban on theatre actors, dancers involved in obscenity

Punjab's government in Pakistan has imposed a lifetime ban on actors and female dancers found promoting vulgarity in theatres. Licenses of theatres spreading obscenity will also be cancelled. This initiative, led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, aims to ensure all theatrical performances are family-friendly, aligning with the 'anti-obscenity drive' launched earlier to civilise commercial theatre plays.
