Sterling could strengthen if a speech from U.K. Treasury on Wednesday about possible new measures to boost economic growth is well-received, Monex Europe said, adding that it sees the risks skewed toward being pleasantly surprised—an outcome that should help the pound claw back some recent losses against the euro.
