NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Are you looking for an IT or data processing job in New York City?

In 2025, the MTA Headquarters announced ten job openings for various positions, including developers, data architects, and cybersecurity officers.

There are nine positions located in Manhattan, and one is in Jamaica. See several of the listings below.

Cybersecurity Officer - Application Security

Salary range: $144,450 - $191,000

Hours: 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Job duties include providing technical leadership and management of MTA's cyber security program in one or more technical domains, and dealing with internal and external threats to MTA systems. The cybersecurity officer will lead a team of multi-functional technical staff.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or related fields. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and CISSP, CISM, or other advanced security-related certification preferred. Applicants must have prior experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting technology systems.

Computer Specialist (Software)

Salary range: $105,643 - $153,524.

Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or as required.

Job duties include designing, implementing, enhancing, and maintaining Database Management Systems, Operating Systems, Data Communications Systems, Applications, and/or related software functions.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, including 24 semester credits in computer science or a related computer field and two years of full-time computer software experience in computer systems development and analysis, applications programming, database administration, systems programming, or data communications.
