NYRA to host job fair for Belmont Stakes Racing Festival

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) will host a job fair on February 13 for possible jobs during the 2025 Belmont Stakes Racing Festival. The fair will run from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the 1863 Club at the Saratoga Race Course.

The job fair will allow prospective workers to meet with NYRA, restaurants, hospitality and event planners for jobs during the second Belmont festival at Saratoga. Positions will include restaurant staff, mutuel clerks, cashiers, merchandise clerks, customer service, white caps and parking attendants.

Applicants must be at least 15 years old, with New York State Certified Working Papers. Those looking to be a cashier, bettering clerk or security guard must be at least 18 years old to apply. Prospective security guards must have a high school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate.

All applicants must bring a photo ID, a Social Security card or a I-9 alternative. Those looking to attend should enter the 1863 Club through the Wright Street entrance, Gate 8, and park inside the 1863 Club lot.

In addition to the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival from June 4 to June 8, the track is adding more track dates to the schedule. As Belmont Park undergoes construction, the July 4 Racing Festival will take place at the Saratoga Racetrack from July 3 to July 6. Saratoga’s official 40-day summer meet will begin on Thursday, July 10, and run through Labor Day.
