Lower 5G Spends by top Indian telcos hit Ericsson's sales in Q4

Ericsson reported a 28% drop in sales to 8.4 billion crowns in Southeast Asia, Oceania, and India for Q4 2024. The decline was due to reduced 5G investments by India's top telecom companies, Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel. Sales in India normalized after a record 2023, even though Ericsson secured key contracts with Bharti Airtel and VNPT.
