Man's Penis Gets Stuck to Icy Sidewalk During Bar Fight

Many of us grew up with the 1983 holiday comedy A Christmas Story as a cautionary tale as to why you should never stick a sensitive body part onto an icy surface. Case in point, a man involved in a bar altercation in Canada recently learned the hard way that this isn't just an urban legend.

TMZ obtained exclusive photos that were reportedly taken from outside the East Village Pub & Eatery in Fort McMurray, Alberta early on Sunday, Jan. 12, in which first responders could be seen struggling to help a patron whose penis became stuck to the icy sidewalk. It's unclear exactly how cold it was that night, but according to ClimateData.org, temperatures average in the low single digits to below zero in Fort McMurray in January.

Police say that the man had been intoxicated and began arguing with patrons inside the establishment, and that the dispute then spilled into the street. At some point in the melee, the aggressor's pants fell down and his penis apparently became stuck to the ice. Somehow, though details were not specified, emergency personnel managed to detach him, relatively uninjured. He was subsequently arrested but not charged with a crime.

Apparently the heavily blurred photos showed the man's member "basically glued" to the ice even as people tried to help pull him off.

"Trust us, this gentleman's privates are clearly stretched before snapping right back to the ice," the outlet reports. "First responders seem to be pulling pretty dang hard right here—nearly performing an impromptu circumcision on the street."

Interestingly enough, a local who commented on the Facebook post said that a friend saw the incident go down and noted that the TMZ's reporting was slightly off.  "The cops are the reason it stuck to the ground," the bystander's friend wrote. "They pressed him face down on the ice, with his pants down and exposed to arrest him. It was when they tried to get him up they realized he was froze on."

In either case, we can probably all agree ... ouch.
