Most roads and bridges now open in Lafayette Parish

UPDATE, 1/24/25, 10 a.m.: The Surrey Street bridge over the Vermilion River is now open.
ORIGINAL STORY: LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- After enduring road and bridge closures in the wake of Tuesday's historic blizzard, most of Lafayette Parish is back to normal as of Friday morning, according to LCG GIS staff.
All of the bridges but one, over the Vermilion River on Surrey Street, are now open.
Here is a list of streets still closed as of 8:30 a.m. Friday:
- L Provost Road (curve near Breakers Way) in Scott
- W. Willow Street, between Ambassador Caffery Parkway and Mills Street
All other snow-related closures have been lifted.
