Opinion: UCP funding cuts ultimately hurt people with disabilities in Alberta
As critical disability studies scholars and students, we are deeply concerned with the recent decision by the Alberta government to cut funding for three self-advocacy groups for people with intellectual disabilities: the Self Advocacy Federation in Edmonton, Disability Action Hall in Calgary and Southern Alberta Individualized Planning Association in Lethbridge.
