Hosted for the fifth year by Trevor Noah, the 2025 Grammy Awards will take place on Feb. 2 and serve a dual purposes this year.

“The upcoming Grammy Awards won’t just be about celebrating and honoring the best in music this year, it will also show how the power of music can help rebuild, uplift and support those in need,” explains Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. “We are thrilled that so many artists in our community are banding together at this time to show support for their fellow music makers and others impacted by the recent wildfires.”

The Recording Academy and MusiCares’ have launched a fundraiser for wildfire relief at musicares.org/firerelief. Joining that effort are the usual music stars who will take the stage on Grammy night. Here are the announced performers so far:

Benson Boone

The breakthrough star had one of the biggest hits of 2024 with “Beautiful Things,” which wasn’t nominated by the Grammys, but Boone did receive a nod for Best New Artist.

Sabrina Carpenter

Six albums into her career, Carpenter finally received her first recognition from the Recording Academy. She’s up for six awards, including Album of the Year (Short n’ Sweet), Record of the Year (“Espresso”), Song of the Year (“Please Please Please”), and Best New Artist. She’s one of only 15 recording artists to receive those four nominations in a single year.

Charli XCX

Until now, the British pop star had flown under the Grammy radar. Her only previous nominations were Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance as a featured artist on Iggy Azalea‘s “Fancy.” But she broke through this year with the critically hailed Brat, which is vying for Album of the Year, while “360” earned her a nom for Record of the Year. In all, she’s up for eight awards.

Doechii

The rapper’s breakthrough this year earned her three Grammy nominations: Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance for “Nissan Altima,” and Best Rap Album for Alligator Bites Never Heal.

Billie Eilish

The nine-time Grammy winner is a darling of the Recording Academy with previous victories for Album of the Year (When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?), two wins for Record of the Year (“Bad Guy” and “Everything I Wanted”), two wins for Song of the Year (“Bad Guy” and “What Was I Made For?”). and Best New Artist. This year she’s nominated for seven more awards, including Album of the Year for the third time for Hit Me Hard and Soft.

Raye

The multitalented British artist received her first three Grammy nominations this year: Best New Artist; Songwriter of the Year, Non-Classical; and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical for her work on R&B artist Lucky Daye‘s Algorithm.

Chappell Roan

The newcomer enjoyed a steady rise with her debut album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess and the subsequent standalone single “Good Luck, Babe!” Now she’s nominated for six Grammys and is one of only 15 recording artists ever to receive nominations across all of the big four general field categories: Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist.

Shakira

The legendary Latin star Shakira is up for Best Latin Pop Album this year for Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. She has won this category twice before, for her MTV Unplugged set and El Dorado. She also won Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album for Fijación Oral Vol. 1. At the Latin Grammys, she has been even more successful, collecting 14 trophies over the course of her career.

Teddy Swims

The relative newcomer enjoyed a breakthrough year in 2024, which earned him a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. He dominated the charts with his single “Lose Control,” which was named Billboard‘s No. 1 song of the year on the Hot 100 chart. But that song was released too early to qualify for this year’s awards.
