US whistleblower says Mastercard, Visa failed to stop payments for child sex abuse material on OnlyFans

Mastercard and Visa allegedly allowed their payment networks to process proceeds from child sexual abuse material and sex trafficking on OnlyFans, as per a whistleblower complaint filed with U.S. Treasury's FinCEN. The complaint, supported by anti-trafficking experts, accuses the companies of ignoring illegal content despite being alerted in 2021. Both companies deny the allegations.
