Illegal compensation to land owners: Supreme Court appoints SIT to probe NOIDA functioning

The Supreme Court has appointed an SIT to investigate allegations of illegal compensation payments by NOIDA officials to land owners. The SIT will probe the quantum of compensation, possible collusion, and overall transparency. The findings are to be submitted in two months.
