Yankees claim RHPs Roansy Contreras, Allan Winans

The New York Yankees claimed right-handed pitchers Roansy Contreras and Allan Winans off waivers Thursday from the Baltimore Orioles and Atlanta Braves, respectively.

Contreras, 25, split the 2024 season between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Los Angeles Angels before a journey through the waiver wire. He was selected off waivers by the Texas Rangers in October, by the Cincinnati
