Police search for group that attacked, robbed CTA passenger
Chicago police are looking for a group who attacked and robbed a passenger on a Red Line train this month.
The passenger was attacked after asking three males to stop smoking on the train about 2:30 a.m. Jan. 2 in the 100 block of West 69th Street, Chicago police said.
The males punched the passenger in the face and body and took a bag containing his wallet, ID and credit cards, police said. The passenger attempted to leave the train but was followed onto the platform, where they continued to attack him.
