Only 70 lakh women in 7.1 crore workers employed in Indian real estate: Report

The Indian real estate sector, despite employing 71 million workers, has only 7 million women, leading to a low Female Labour Force Participation Rate of 25.1%. Addressing gender disparities, through targeted upskilling and equal pay, could drive substantial economic benefits and enhance inclusivity and productivity in the sector.
