Laird has been playing better in recent league games.
He's frustrating at times but there's definitely a player there. He's still only 23 and has had a stop start career so far with loans and injuries.
If he can stay fit and get a proper run of games under a coach like Davies I still hold out hope for Laird becoming a real asset. It's up to him to really make the position his own now and iron out the weaknesses in his game.
