BobbyMooreThis is a crazy League 1 season. If Wycombe carry on at their current rate, they will have the highest total for a second placed team ever. They will get 100 points which will be a record for any team. I think only 6 teams have ever got more than 100 points in the efl and they all won the league.
Small sample size but it seems to be the case in general that winning leagues requires more points. In 22-23 Sheffield Wednesday got 96 points and finished 3rd.
