Delhi Polls: 1040 nominations accepted, 477 rejected during scrutiny of nomination papers

The scrutiny of nominations for the Delhi Assembly elections has led to a total of 1,040 nominations being accepted for the 70 seats, with 477 being rejected. AAP's Arvind Kejriwal, BJP's Parvesh Verma, and Congress' Sandeep Dikshit are contesting the pivotal New Delhi seat. Polls are set for February 5, with counting on February 8.
