Rotterdam PD search for suspect in another armed robbery

ROTTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Police are investigating an armed robbery in the town of Rotterdam. Police say the robbery took place around 11:51 p.m. Wednesday at the Country Farms on Guilderland Avenue.

Rotterdam police said a male entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the employees. A similar robbery happened a week earlier at the same store.

In both incidents, the male suspect fled on foot, heading north on Vischer Avenue. Police officers said they believe the suspect is the same for both robberies.

Schenectady Police and the Schenectady County Sheriff's Department K9 unit assisted Rotterdam police at the time of the robbery. The suspect for both robberies has not been located.
