Justice Vinod Chandran takes oath as Supreme Court judge

Former Patna High Court chief justice K Vinod Chandran took oath as a Supreme Court judge following his promotion approval by the Centre. Justice Chandran, previously Kerala High Court judge and Patna High Court chief justice, now brings the Supreme Court's judicial strength to 33 judges. His elevation addressed the lack of Kerala High Court representation in the apex court.
