Mamata Banerjee suspends 12 doctors for negligence in connection to the death of a woman and infant

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee suspended 12 doctors, including the Medical Superintendent of Midnapore Medical College, for negligence causing the death of a woman and infant due to contaminated IV fluid during a C-section. The investigation is ongoing, and criminal proceedings will follow. Compensation has been offered to the affected family.
