The 30-year-old Puerto Rican superstar’s new album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS is a dedication to his culture, and fans are eagerly reading the lyrics and translations of songs like “LA MuDANZA,” the final track on the record.

In the tribute track, Benito provides an emotional dedication to his parents, and to Puerto Rico. The song recalls how his parents first met, and thanks them for their impact on his life.

“Thanks, mommy, for giving birth to me here,” he declares.

“The best of the new ’cause I grew up with the old / Thanks to mommy and daddy for all the ear-pulling lessons / You’ve never seen me on the streets or on podcasts complaining,” he goes on.

After an interlude, the song transitions to Bad Bunny discussing his love for Puerto Rico, referring to scholar Eugenio María de Hostos and calling for the island’s independence.

“No one’ll kick me out of here, I’m not going anywhere / Tell them this is my home where my grandfather was born / I’m from Puerto f-cking Rico,” he declares.
