Venezuela – Chargé d'affaires summoned (16 Jan. 2025)

Venezuela's chargée d'affaires in France was summoned to the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs today, Wednesday 15 January. The summons follows the Venezuelan regime's decision to reduce the diplomatic capabilities of the French Embassy in Venezuela. France categorically rejects the allegations of interference made against it. France is committed to maintaining dialogue with all the parties to facilitate a peaceful solution to the crisis.
