Colder this morning but warmer weather arrives today

Clearing skies and colder weather is back in Acadiana this Thursday morning as temperatures have fallen into the 30s to 40s. The afternoon turns warmer with highs near 64° under mostly sunny skies. Lows tonight return to the 30s for much of the area.

Extremely cold air is still in the forecast to arrive over the weekend into next week with a hard freeze threat for Acadiana. Any winter precipitation threats is still unknown.
