Love Island star reveals why she dropped out of All Stars at the last minute – and fans are FURIOUS
LOVE Island favourite Anna Vakili revealed that she dropped out of All Stars last minute.
The reality star, 34, told fans that she was set to join the spin-off show but decided against it saying: “the kind of man I want to settle down with wouldn’t really want a woman that’s going on Love Island.”
Anna explained that she went through the whole process to appear on All Stars – including multiple meetings and STD and drug testing.
But at the last minute, the fiery brunette decided to drop out as she believed her dream man would not be in the villa.
Speaking on her Sisters In The City podcast, Anna said: “I should be in South Africa right now, on Love Island All Stars, in the warmth in a bikini on TV because I was very close to going on there.”
Her sister Mandy asked: “How do you feel about letting go of that opportunity?”
Anna replied: “I don’t see it as an opportunity, I look at previously Love Island All Stars and I don’t think it did anything for any of them.
“In terms of me finding someone on there, it’s very very slim.”
Anna, who admitted her appearance on Love Island in 2019 changed her life for the better financially, said that returning to the show would be “greedy”.
She continued: “It would have not benefited me financially. The kind of man I want to settle down with wouldn’t really want a woman that’s going on Love Island. I feel that’s such a f****** f****d up thing to say but that’s the truth.
“For example, when I went on in 2019, I had to go on because we were in a bad financial place. It changed me life, it changed our family’s life, it served its purpose.
“Going on there now, is just being greedy.
“The guy that I would want to marry now, would look down on that ‘why you on there snogging different guys in a bikini’.
“I’m a 34-year-old woman.”
Anna said she was down to the final stages before withdrawing from the process.
“Don’t get me wrong guys, I was very far down the line to go on there,” she said.
“I went for my STD test, I went for my drug test, I went through the whole process, I went through all the meetings – I was this close to going on.”
It comes after Anna spoken candidly about a series of botched procedures she had in the hope of getting her ‘perfect’ body.
She also revealed how much money she has wasted and what she has had done.
The pharmacist said: “I ended up going and getting a BBL [Brazilian Bum Lift] as well. This is all in the space of six months.
“I got my boob job and my BBL. I think they were £14k each or something like that.
“It was crazy. It was expensive and the boob job was about £5k.
“That was our first BBL. It was good but we didn’t come out with a massive a**e, not even a big one.”
STEP TOO FAR
After looking back at herself on the screen, Anna – who has over 1.2million followers – saw that she had gone overboard with her facial enhancements.
”I was like ‘Oh my God, fillers are overboard, everything is too much going on’.
”Then I went back towards a more natural look – and I feel much better for it.”
The star was due to go on Love Island: All Stars earlier this year, but pulled out at the last minute.
A source at the time, told The Sun: “Love Island producers were hell bent on getting Anna for the All Stars series as she was part of the one of the highest rated series of the show ever, and viewers will never forget her blazing row with fellow islander Jordan Hames.
“She was guaranteed to bring the drama, which is just what this series is all about.
“Anna went in for a string of meetings and even got as far as booking the medical all islanders have to take before entering the villa, but then at the last minute had a change of heart.”
