CJI Sanjiv Khanna administers oath of office to Justice K Vinod Chandran as SC judge

Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna administered the oath of office to Patna High Court Chief Justice K Vinod Chandran as a Supreme Court judge, raising its strength to 33. The collegium had recommended Chandran’s appointment, which was cleared by the Centre on January 13. Chandran, previously a judge of Kerala High Court, became Patna High Court Chief Justice in March 2023.
