Julia Stiles Gets in on Animal Print Trend With Leopard Print Pumps in New York City
Julia Stiles turned heads in New York City on Monday night in a pair of animal print pointed-toe pumps.
Animal prints have been a popular trend throughout the winter season so far, and the “Save the Last Dance” actress showcased her take by way of a sleek pair of pointed-toe pumps, which have also been a recurring theme in the colder months. Stiles’ pumps were emphasized by their elongated, triangular construction in the upper.
Also crafted with patent leather material, the closed-back construction of the silhouette sturdily held the back of her feet in place, and while the back of her shoes couldn’t be seen completely, they were likely completed with a razor sharp stiletto heel that measured approximately between 3-to-4 inches in height based on her previous preferences.
Bundling up for the chilly NYC weather, Stiles wore an elegant black peacoat, which was defined by its slightly oversized design. Underneath her coat was a dark green satin jump suit that worked as a nice contrast to her leopard-print pumps. Stiles accessorized her look with the green version of the Midi Mayfair bag from Aspinal of London, which is handcrafted with full-grain leather, and features the brand’s recognizable signature shield lock.
Serving as a compliment to her outfit, the pumps were indicative of a style that has been trending throughout 2025 thus far. This year has seen the style trend on an upward swing with stylists recommending pointed shoes to achieve simple and classic looks for the fall and winter seasons.
In fact, journalist Gayle King was spotted last week on the “Today Show” in a hot pink pair of pointed-toe pumps from Sarah Jessica Parker’s “SJP” shoe line. Wearing the brand’s “Reflection” pumps, which have previously been seen on Parker’s television series “And Just Like That,” the shoes were crafted with patent leather material, made with satin pink uppers and color-blocked toes that include a mixture of gold, pink and silver, and characterized by a pointed-toe aesthetic.
