World Bank funds 82 mln USD for Sudan health services
KHARTOUM, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) -- The World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) said on Monday they had received 82 million U.S. dollars in funding from the World Bank to improve health services for more than 8 million people in Sudan.
The funding will address urgent health needs and lay the groundwork for long-term improvements, the organizations said in a joint statement.
