Hyundai's slow EV ramp-up in India hurts its decarbonisation efforts, Greenpeace says
Hyundai and Kia face criticism from Greenpeace East Asia for their slow adoption of electric vehicles in India and increased sales of gasoline-engine SUVs. While their per-vehicle emissions have decreased in Europe and South Korea, they have risen in India. Both companies plan to introduce additional EV models by 2030 to meet Indian government targets.
