The mega discount retailer is launching its popular Heated Upright Airer this week – on 16th of January – and the handy household product is bound to your laundry days a breeze.

Seeling for £79.99, it’s cheaper than many other brands on the market – Dunelm’s 3 Tier Heated Airer is £89.99, whereas Lakeland’s Dry: Soon 3-Tier Heated Airer will set you back an eye-watering £129.99.

It also costs less than 9p an hour to run*.

With a whopping 36 heated bars, the airer will become an essential for drying your clothes fast this winter.

The sleek item, which comes in white, measures at 147cm x 73 x 70 (approximately) when open and 147cm x 730 x 15 (approximately) when folded.

The airer comes with several accessories, arguably setting it apart from other airers on the market.

Aldi shoppers get two extra racks for the top, two mesh shelves, two peg hangers and a drying cover.

The two mesh shelves lie across the rails and customers can place anything they want to dry flat, or small items, on top.

The peg hangers are added to any rail via velcro – which is super easy to assemble and use.

As for the drying cover – just place it over the entire airer and it can help circulate the heat evenly.

Although the airer may appear to be bulky, there’s one massive plus – it can dry up to 30kg of washing – which makes it perfect for families or larger households where the washing machine seems to be constantly running.

Meanwhile, for those who live alone or don’t go through huge piles of clothing every weekend, Aldi’s Heated Airer Winged might be a better fit.

Available at stores as of the 16th of January, this airer is not only a smaller version of the £79.99 find – but also cheaper, setting customers back £34.99.

Featuring 18 heated bars, the sell-out airer measures at 148cm x 54 x 83 when open and can easily be folded when you want to store it away.

Whether you’ve embarked on your fitness journey or your kids constantly need their uniforms washed, this airer will make doing laundry easier.

The viral airer has become a major hit online, with one shopper going as far as saying she ”couldn’t be without it”.

Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, a private Facebook group with 2.5 million members, Madi Hanson shared a snap of her new Ambiano buy.

Alongside her post, she explained: “Out today in Aldi, 6p per hour but we gave Octopus EV tariff so 1/3 of the price per hour between 11.30-5.30 pm. Effectively economy 7 rebooted.

“A lot cheaper than a tumble dryer and folds flat for those with a small space.”

Madi confirmed that the heated airer, which was sold last winter but is now heading back to stores again, comes with a cover too.

She added: “Everyone raved about it last year hence getting one.”
