UP govt proposes 'no helmet, no fuel' policy to curb road accidents

Uttar Pradesh has proposed a 'no helmet, no fuel' policy to decrease road accidents involving two-wheelers. Drivers without helmets will not be sold fuel, with fuel station operators and law enforcement ensuring strict implementation and public awareness campaigns promoting helmet use as a life-saving measure.
