Largest Harappan metropolis struggling for preservation

Rakhigarhi, the largest known Harappan site, faces challenges in preserving its 5,000-year-old mud brick structures. The excavation team is re-burying these structures to protect them. An on-site museum is built but not operational. Antiquities are sent to other locations. Despite its tourism potential, preservation and exhibition efforts at Rakhigarhi have been largely unsuccessful.
