Fonda-Fultonville fends off Canajoharie

FONDA, NY (NEWS10) -- Fonda-Fultonville played host to Canajoharie Tuesday night in a Western Athletic Conference clash. The 7 and 3 Valley Hawks entered the night 3-1 in league play, with the 6-3 Cougars right behind them at 3-2 in the WAC.

The first quarter belonged to the Cougars, as Antonio Fairley poured in 10 points in the opening frame to help guide to an 8-point lead after the first. The Valley Hawks took over in the second quarter, taking a 32-25 lead into halftime. Fonda-Fultonville pulled away in the second half, on their way to a 64-42 win.
