Equity MF inflows rose 15% to Rs 41,000 crore in Dec, debt funds saw outflows of Rs 1.27 lakh crore

In December 2024, the mutual fund industry experienced a net outflow of Rs 80,509 crore, with Rs 1.27 lakh crore withdrawn from debt funds. Equity mutual fund inflows increased by 15% month-on-month to Rs 41,155 crore, driven by sectoral, thematic, mid-cap, and flexi-cap funds.
