China's consumer inflation slows in December even after stimulus efforts

China's consumer inflation slowed to 0.1% in December from 0.2% in November. The producer price index fell 2.3% year-on-year, compared to a 2.5% decline in November. Beijing has increased policy support to strengthen the economy. The figures were in line with forecasts from economists.
