Microsoft, IndiaAI join hands to train 5 lakh individuals on AI by 2026, set up productivity labs

Microsoft India president Puneet Chandok announced a $3 billion investment to build tech, infrastructure, and AI capacity in India. The company aims to train 1 crore people over five years, with 24 lakh already trained. In March 2024, the government approved a budget of Rs 10,372 crore for the development of the country's AI ecosystem over the next five years.
