Newsom and state leaders stress high-speed rail progress amid new challenges

California's high-speed rail project faces pushback from the incoming Trump administration. But state leaders on Monday expressed their resolve that it would one day connect Los Angeles to the Bay Area and possibly link to another high-speed rail line between Southern California and Las Vegas.
