“A Complete Unknown” Stars Elle Fanning and Monica Barbaro Dress Up Their Golden Globes After Party Looks With Chic Gianvito Rossi Shoes

“A Complete Unknown” co-stars Monica Barbaro and Elle Fanning were both wearing Gianvito Rossi shoes at Jas Mathur and Michael Braun’s Golden Globes party on Jan. 5. One of the trendiest footwear brands in 2024, these actresses are among those bringing the label into 2025.

Barbaro plays Joan Baez and Fanning plays Sylvie Russo in the Bob Dylan biopic starring Timothée Chalamet as the iconic singer-songwriter. Following the Golden Globes, where the film was nominated for three awards, Barbaro and Fanning looked resplendent in chic dresses showcasing two different takes on after party fashion.

Barbaro opted for a deep purple satiny minidress with spaghetti straps and a V-neck; a little bow adornment was at the center of the neckline. Fanning continued her animal print theme established on the Golden Globes’ red carpet. While her Pierre Balmain look from earlier in the night included an animal print bust adding a fun accent to her voluminous gown, she later opted for an archival Christian Dior by John Galliano dress that fully leaned into the wild animal aesthetic with a vibrant print resembling a jaguari. The gown featured spaghetti straps embellished with orange dice, a subtle accent contributing to the dress’ uniqueness. The look also included an elegant printed scarf feature.

Barbaro’s dress was accented by a silver version of Gianvito Rossi’s Ribbon Stiletto. The shoe features a square toe and a horizontal strap across the toes in addition to a slender strap wrapping around the back of the foot; the latter is adorned with the Ribbon buckle, which also is designed to look like the initials of the brand. Additionally, the minimalist style is lifted by a stiletto heel.

Meanwhile, Fanning donned a different silhouette from the same luxury brand. In a rather fitting choice, she selected the Elle style, a mule with a pointed toe, stiletto heel and PVC upper. Available in several hues, Fanning wore the brown version of the semi-transparent shoe, a deep hue that blended nicely with her Dior dress.

Some of the projects taking home multiple awards from the 82nd Golden Globes included “Emilia Pérez,” “The Brutalist,” “Shōgun” and “Hacks.”
