HMPV scare: Citizens need not panic, advisory to be issued, says CM Fadnavis

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis assured citizens not to panic amid Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV) cases in some states. The state health department will issue a comprehensive advisory soon. The Union health ministry and state officials are monitoring the situation. HMPV is already circulating globally, including in India, and respiratory illnesses associated with it have been reported in various countries.
