Space industry funding in India falls 55% in 2024, data show

Funding in India's space sector declined by 55% in 2024 to $59.1 million from $130.2 million the previous year. Despite global investments in space companies totaling $28 billion over the past five years, India's space industry raised $354 million. A government fund of $119 million was approved to support space startups.
