Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet Defy Breakup Rumors at 82nd Annual Golden Globes
Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet have been the subject of media fervor since they were first synced two years ago. Jenner, who shares two kids with Travis Scott, accompanied Chalamet as his date to the 82nd Annual Golden Globes.
Although the duo has chosen to keep their relationship private for the most part, they've continued to pique interest and defy rumors. Here's everything we know about Jenner and Chalamet's relationship.

While the origin of their relationship is unknown, rumors started floating around Hollywood that the two were seeing each other sometime in April 2023. This comes just a few months after Jenner split up with long-time boyfriend Travis Scott, with whom she shares two kids. Although Jenner and Chalamet didn't publicly confirm their relationship at the time, several sources spotted them out and about near L.A.
The first report the two were together came from the Daily Mail after Chalamet was reportedly seen getting into one of Jenner’s cars after an alleged date at Tito’s Tacos in Santa Monica. Around the same time, an insider told Us Weekly the two aren't that serious and they're just having fun getting to know one another.

“Kylie has only hung out with Timothée a couple of times, so things aren’t that serious. However, she’s enjoying getting to know him better and is open to seeing where things go,” the source said. “Things are very new so it’s hard to tell, but so far she likes what she sees.”
“Timothée is a total gentleman and treats [Kylie] with respect," the insider added. "He’s very charming and he makes her laugh, and he’s easy to talk to. He’s not like any of the other guys she’s dated before and although he may not seem like her type, they have really good chemistry.”
Throughout the next few months, the couple reportedly continued to see each other and kept things low-key. While the couple still didn't confirm their relationship, an insider told Entertainment Tonight they were continuing to keep things casual in May of that same year.
"Kylie and Timothée are casually seeing each other, but are trying to keep it low-key," the source said. "They are becoming more comfortable with each other, but Kylie wants to take things day by day and see where it goes. Her family thinks it's great that Kylie is doing her thing and they are supportive."

During the summer of 2023, breakup records started to run rampant, yet the two never confirmed or denied if that was true. In September, the duo was spotted hanging out at a Beyoncé concert at SoFi Stadium. That same month they were spotted at a New York Fashion Week event, then again at the U.S. Open, where they were seen kissing.
Over the next few months, the couple was spotted in public together despite Chalamet's pleas to keep things private in an interview with GQ.
In January 2024, the two were seen getting cozy at the 81st Golden Globes. Although they skipped walking the red carpet together, videos of them looking very much in love in their matching black ensembles took the internet by storm.
The couple continued to keep their relationship status pretty private throughout 2024, but sources told People the two "are super serious and very involved with each other’s day to day lives, family on both sides included.”
"His family also sees how happy she makes him," the source added. "They’re definitely beyond the ‘just having fun’ point of the relationship. Everyone on both sides sees definite potential for something real here.”
Despite breakup rumors in the summer of 2024, the couple was spotted out on date nights on numerous occasions, including coming off Jenner's private plane after her birthday in the Bahamas. The two recently turned up the heat as the holidays rolled around with date nights in New York City and an early Christmas celebration with Jenner's two kids—Stormi and Aire.
Although neither of the stars has spoken out about their relationship, it seems they're continuing to have fun spending time together.
