After a shocking loss against Australia, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli to return to action with THIS series

India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir has kept his quiet regarding the future of senior batters Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in Test cricket, saying that it depends on the players to make their own decisions.
In an interview with the media, Gambhir expressed his confidence that both the veteran players will make choices that will be beneficial to he team.

For their future, however, both the star players are expected to come back to action as the ODI series against England comes by, set to begin February 6 in Nagpur. India is ready to host the English team for the five T20Is and three ODIs. The T20I series will begin later this month, on January 22, as Suryakumar Yadav will be taking the Three Lions in Chennai.

Both Rohit and Kohli have retired from T20I format, and will only be taking part in the ODI side. As this will be the last 50-over assignment before the much-awaited Champions Trophy 2025, both the star players will be eyeing to have a good run with the bat and enter the marquee event as one of the top contenders.

2nd T20I- January 25 in Kolkata
3rd T20I- January 28 in Rajkot
4th T20I- January 31 in Pune
5th T20I- February 2 in Mumbai

3 ODIs:
1st ODI- February 6 in Nagpur
2nd ODI- February 9 in Cuttack
3rd ODI- February 13 in Ahmedabad
