Chinese man sentenced to death for running over 35 people with car

BEIJING, China: A Chinese court sentenced a man to death for killing 35 people and injuring 43 others after driving into a crowd exercising at a sports center in Zhuhai, southern China.

The attack, carried out by 62-year-old Fan Weiqiu, was reportedly motivated by anger over his divorce settlement, according to the court's ruling.
