Congestion pricing map NYC: See where tolls apply

0

NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – New York is just days away from implementing congestion pricing tolls, which will charge drivers to enter Manhattan south of 60th Street.

Here’s what you need to know about where congestion pricing tolls will apply:

Congestion pricing map

A map shows where congestion pricing tolls will be applied in New York City. (MTA)

Where will drivers be tolled?

Drivers will be tolled upon entry to local streets and avenues below and including 60th Street in Manhattan.

Are there any exemptions?

The FDR Drive, West Side Highway/Route 9A and Hugh L. Carey Tunnel connections to West Street are all excluded from the toll. Once drivers turn off these roads and onto local streets below 60th, the toll is charged.

Tunnels to take for congestion pricing discounts

The MTA will offer crossing credits, or discounts up to $3, for drivers with E-ZPasses that enter the city via the Lincoln, Holland, Queens-Midtown or Hugh L. Carey Tunnels.

How much will it cost?

The tolls will cost $9 during peak hours and $2.50 during off-peak hours. Peak hours are between 5 a.m. and 9 p.m. on weekdays and between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. on weekends.

Some things can bring that price down, like crossing credits and a Low Income Discount Plan.

In some places, the tolls will compound with Port Authority tolls, which will also see price increases on Sunday.
